Richmond Elementary Farm to School invites you to celebrate local farms and food at the Second Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 29 from 11am to 3pm at the West Monitor Barn. The event is free of charge and open to children of all ages. There will be loads of activities including grinding grain, making corn cakes, dipping caramel apples, pressing cider, blending bike-powered smoothies, climbing on hay bales and much more. Enjoy a local lunch and dessert, listen to live music, and bid on great items in a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit our farm partners who were impacted by flooding from Tropical Storm Irene.
